The Department of Commerce, Indrayani Mahavidyalaya under umbrella of
Indrayani Vidya Mandir Trust came into existence in 1968 with the MISSION-
“To provide timely and updated knowledge in the field of commerce to the
learners to enhance their employability skills and enrich their personality”.
We offer B.Com program and has been touching heights since then, also started the
post-graduation program M.Com with specialization of Business Administration
and Costing. Today, the Department of Commerce has evolved as an axis of
excellence.
We offer the best quality Education and Training to students for shaping their
careers for a sustainable corporate world. The Department of Commerce aims to
provide academically efficient and professionally relevant teaching in the areas of
Accounting, Banking, Finance, and Administration & Entrepreneurship. By
offering numerous value-added programs to improve candidates' knowledge and
abilities in a variety of areas, the department also prepares prospective employees
to meet obstacles in both life and the workplace.
Through training programs- Tally Prime, e-filling, Personality Development,
various cultural and sport events, and other means, we hope to instill a value-based
education as well as strong communication skills, a happy attitude, and other
attributes. Moreover, Business Plan Competitions give students a forum to present
their creative ideas and startup plans, fostering their ability to apply knowledge and
hone their entrepreneurial skills in preparation for future difficulties.
The department is dedicated to helping students become tomorrow's leaders and
business owners who will benefit society and the entire nation. Our curriculum was
created with a multifaceted approach, taking into account the evolving business
and commerce sector. We take an active approach to meeting the demands of a
fast-paced, international business environment. We also innovate in pedagogy,
course design, and academic perspective to better understand who we are.
We work to achieve higher levels of distinction and expand upon the solid
foundations of the Department of Commerce with the help of the faculty, staff,
students, and other stakeholders. I would want to take this opportunity to extend an

मराठी विभाग हा इंद्रायणी महाविद्यालयातील सर्वात जुन्या विभागांपैकी एक आहे ज्याचा उद्देश मराठी भाषा आणि संस्कृतीचा प्रसार करणे आणि त्याच्या इतिहासाचा अभ्यास करणे आहे. इंद्रायणी विद्या मंदिरच्या विभागाचा एक भाग म्हणून 1967 मध्ये स्थापना करण्यात आली. एक प्राध्यापक आणि एक संशोधन सहाय्यक या पदापासून सुरुवात करून, विभाग वाढविण्यात आला आणि आता त्यात 4 प्राध्यापक सदस्य आहेत. विभागाच्या स्थापनेपासूनच्या काळात विविध साहित्यिक आणि संशोधन उपक्रमांचे केंद्र राहिले आहे. प्राध्यापक, अतिथी व्याख्याते आणि भूतकाळातील विद्यार्थी म्हणून अनेक उल्लेखनीय विद्वान आणि समीक्षक विभागाशी संलग्न आहेत.
